THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

How fast another year passes which puts us to five years since we bought the lot and three since we broke ground...with not a great deal to show for the last year as Dan's been busy with projects on St. John and none of our needs are urgent.  In prep for a bunch of different people coming down for April he got the upstairs bathroom working (sink and toilet, no shower) and things were pretty posh compared to last year.  For the first time we broke out rugs and cushions and duvet covers and the place looked (and felt), well, like home.  More progress made in April with first Brad and Barb spending 10 days (new bar (stocked, thank you!), compost bin, painting, furniture building, et al) and then a second wave of visitors including G. Suz, Sam, Karina, Tira, Kath and Jeff  that delivered more of the same plus wood wall finishing in hallway and drywall hanging and taping in bathrooms.

Some shots (in no particular order)
